Serendipity 2020

This year I was lucky enough to spend 70 days out on the water! I am so thankful for those days, and all of the people I was blessed to spend them with! This morning, on the last day of 2020, my friend suggested that I find a positive word to focus on as we welcome in a new year. That word for me is SERENDIPITY. "The occurrence and development of events by chance in a happy or beneficial way."
It is also the name of the Admiral 32ft sailboat I delivered to Annapolis MD from Georgetown SC starting this October. The first leg of the delivery was with my friend Bryan Harris, and the second leg was with my husband Tim, in December. I am shown here on my 70th day on the water, and Serendipity is in the background. "Dont forget to stop and see how far you have come."
Being able to spend time on the water was the most serendipitous event for me in 2020. It has inspired an ambitious amount of batik ideas, strengthened and connected me to loving relationships, and allowed me to breathe! Stay safe, have hope, big love!
